Brothers' Window Series - Single Hung

A vertical slider is a window which slides up and down. A single hung is where the bottom half of the window slides up for venting and the top stays stationary. The X represents the sliding part of the window and O the stationary part.

Homes where the opening is taller than it is wide lend themselves to vertical sliders.
